Meeting Girls in Class
While in college, one must attend class. So it makes sense that you use that time getting girls!
In college, there are three main types of classes. These can vary depending on the degree you are doing, but I will cover the three core ones.
- Lectures
- Tutorials (small classes of under 50 people, classroom setting)
- Labs / Practicals (interactive classes of less than 50 people)
Lectures:
Lectures are large classes of up to 500 people. Usually there is not much student interaction and the lecturer just goes on talking about the topic while students take notes. To approach a girl in a lecture, you NEED to be sitting 1 seat distance away from her. Ideally next to her, but in front or behind can also work.
Here you will want to open with something fairly social. Don’t go direct at the start of a lecture (or any class) with a girl, because if you get blown out, it will make things very awkward. Plus she may feel cornered causing her to blow you out in the first place.
Once you sit next to her, open with a simple “Hi” or “Hello”. Similar to when opening in a library. Make sure you open at the very beginning as soon as you or she sits down.
From there you can follow up with an opinion opener (use text message tactic), a standard question like “so what do you think about this class so far?” or a humorous observation. You will need to topic change quick and re open multiple times during the lecture. Also, try and re-open when the lecture finishes so you can get into a conversation while you are walking out. This will give you ample time to display attractive qualities and maybe number close.
A good thing about lectures is that you will rarely be remembered by the other people in the class because there are so many people this give you more opportunity to display value through conversation as opposed to actions.
Tutorials
Tutorials are small classes, much like school classes. They will usually have around 30 people and will be a combination of interactive and teacher talking activities.
Here it can sometimes be difficult to be seated next to a girl you are interested in, due to lack of seats. Also you need to watch your actions through out the lesson. Usually you will have the same people in your class for the whole semester and because its a small class, they will be able to build an impression of you just by being in the same room as you.
Make sure you set things off on the right foot from the start. Sit down wherever, and be friendly and social with the people next to you. Introduce yourself. Be confident. Be loud so the girls notice you. Do this to everyone.
You will not be able to have many personal conversations in a tutorial, so striking up a conversation while walking out is your best bet. Go with a social or opinion opener. Again, you don’t want to be too direct as you will be seeing these girls over and over so it may be weird.
Also, if you can control a small social group in the class, make friends quickly and act like a social guy. You should be able to form a group for ‘group assignments’. If you can do this, and get the girl you are interested in to join your group, you will be in a great position to build attraction, rapport and get her alone.
Labs
Labs are like classrooms, but you are doing more practical activities such as building stuff or doing experiments. You may not find many girls in labs because these are found in the science and engineering type degrees, but if you are lucky enough to get a girl in your class its a great place to show value and build attraction.
Labs often work in partner/group assignments. So you have to make a play on the first day. If you spot a girl you are interested in, position yourself close to her. Make conversation with her and others, similar to in a classroom to build social proof, them make a move to get her as your partner/group member. Once you are in the same group, you will have a semester of working together. Plus during class, you will have numerous props and activities to create humour and tension out of. This is a great situation. But remember, don’t go to hard to early, as it may make things very awkward. Befriend her, then get her out on a social activity such as a party. Make your move from there.
